Hello! 50 Turkish Recipes is a collection of authentic and modern recipes from the author, Murat. The dishes in this book are easy to make, using ingredients that are accessible anywhere. This cooking series will allow you to taste the world’s famous dishes in your own home, without having to venture too far. I received a copy of this book for this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I was tasked with the challenge of choosing from one of several options for review. I decided to go with Hello! 50 Turkish Recipes as I have a huge love for food and learning about different cultures, as well as trying new recipes.

My first impression of this book is that it is very well put together. The cover is eye catching and appealing and makes me want to look inside. Upon opening the book, I was very glad to see that each recipe is accompanied by a picture of whatever it is they are making. This not only helps with possible substitutions to be made (for example: tomatoes instead of tomatillos in a salsa), but also lets you know how your end product should look.

Murat does a wonderful job of explaining the steps and ingredients clearly so you can follow each recipe easily. I feel this would be a wonderful cookbook for someone who is wanting to learn about different cultures and their cuisines. It’s also great for those who maybe aren’t as experienced in cooking or those that don’t want
