Hello! 50 Turkish Recipes

Hello! 50 Turkish Recipes is a collection of authentic and modern recipes from the author, Murat. The dishes in this book are easy to make, using ingredients that are accessible anywhere. This cooking series will allow you to taste the world’s famous dishes in your own home, without having to venture too far. I received a copy of this book for this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I was tasked with the challenge of choosing from one of several options for review. I decided to go with Hello! 50 Turkish Recipes as I have a huge love for food and learning about different cultures, as well as trying new recipes.

My first impression of this book is that it is very well put together. The cover is eye catching and appealing and makes me want to look inside. Upon opening the book, I was very glad to see that each recipe is accompanied by a picture of whatever it is they are making. This not only helps with possible substitutions to be made (for example: tomatoes instead of tomatillos in a salsa), but also lets you know how your end product should look.

Murat does a wonderful job of explaining the steps and ingredients clearly so you can follow each recipe easily. I feel this would be a wonderful cookbook for someone who is wanting to learn about different cultures and their cuisines. It’s also great for those who maybe aren’t as experienced in cooking or those that don’t want

Pros

– It has a pretty cover.

Cons

– Each recipe is accompanied by a picture.

– The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

This Turkish cookbook is a great way to learn about the fascinating history and culture of Turkish cuisine. The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this cookbook to anyone who wants to learn more about Turkish food. 5 stars!

The cuisine of Turkey is one of the most varied and richest in the world. Turkish cuisine is a result of the fusion of various culinary traditions of the Ottoman Empire which, at its height, controlled a territory that extended from the Balkans to the Caucasus and from Anatolia to the Middle East. The cuisine has thus benefited from an immense variety of geographic, economic, and historical heritages.

The Turkish cuisine of today is the continuation of a tradition which has developed for centuries on these lands and it reflects the imperatives imposed by geography, history and culture.

-The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures are beautiful.

-It will give you a deep understanding of Turkish cuisine.

-Beautiful pictures and authentic dishes, this book is a rich guide to all things Turkish.

-This recipe book may not hold enough information for some people looking for more extensive techniques about cooking in Turkey.

Factors To Consider When Choosing Best Turkish Cookbooks

Turkish cuisine is a treasure trove of flavors, colors and textures that you can enjoy in your own home. You may not know much about Turkish food, but after reading these books and trying some of these delicious dishes out yourself, I guarantee it won’t be long before you become an expert.

Each book has its own specialties: one featuring vegetarian dishes; another with traditional Ottoman-style fare; and finally a third with recipes from all over the country. But no matter which book you choose, you’re sure to find a wealth of amazing recipes that will introduce you to a whole new world of Turkish cuisine.

So if you’re looking for something new to add to your cookbook collection or if you’re just curious about what Turkish food is all about, then be sure to check out one (or all!) of these fantastic Turkish cookbooks!

Are you a foodie? Is your passion for cooking and eating the best of the best in cuisine from around the world? If so, then this article is for you! We’ll discuss three Turkish cookbooks that will have you cooking up a storm of flavor. Turkish food is a cuisine that is often overlooked, but it’s one that you’ll definitely want to get to know.

Each book offers its own unique perspective on Turkish cuisine. One book is filled with vegetarian dishes, another traditional Ottoman-style fare, and the last recipes from all over the country. No matter which book you choose, you’re sure to find a wealth of amazing recipes.

But there are a few factors you’ll want to consider before making your purchase. Let’s take a look at them now.

Cuisine

The first thing to ask yourself is what type of cuisine you’re in the mood for. Turkish food is diverse, so no matter what you’re craving, there’s a good chance that you’ll find just what you’re looking for.

The next thing to consider is whether or not the book has step-by-step photos. If you’re like me and love seeing picture of your dishes along with directions on how everything should turn out, then this is a must.

And finally, you’ll want to make sure that the cookbook has recipes that are easy to follow. Turkish cuisine is flavorful and healthy, but some of the dishes can be a bit complicated. You don’t want to be bogged down by a recipe that’s too difficult for you to follow.

So, before making your purchase, ask yourself these three questions and you’re sure to find the perfect Turkish cookbook for your needs. As for me, I already have my eye on the one with traditional Ottoman-style recipes.

The Book of Turkish Cooking

Getting to know the food culture, ingredients and techniques is essential for making authentic Turkish dishes in your own home. And that’s exactly what you’ll learn when you pick up this cookbook!

The book starts by providing some helpful information on how to use spices like garlic, cumin and sumac. They also provide the Turkish names so you can look them up if necessary. But this book isn’t just about talking about spices, it’s about giving you recipes that use them!

The next section of the book is all about breads and accompaniments to your meals. Even though they’re not involved in most dishes, there are still some that you can’t eat without, like pita bread and yogurt. So the recipes in this section are definitely worth checking out!

There’s also a chapter dedicated to soups and starters, which include dishes like bean salad, hummus and stuffed grape leaves. I know what you’re thinking: not all Turkish people eat kebabs, right? Well, this is true; but even though the kebabs are more well-known, there’s more to Turkish cuisine than just kebabs!

The last chapter is dedicated to meat dishes like chicken and lamb. The recipes in this section use different cooking techniques that you may not be familiar with if you don’t cook much at home; but they’re all worth trying!

So, if you’re looking for a comprehensive guide to Turkish cuisine, then this is the book for you.

The Vegetarian Turkish Cookbook

This cookbook is perfect for vegetarians or those who are just looking to add more vegetarian dishes to their repertoire. It’s filled with delicious recipes like roasted eggplant dip, lentil soup and stuffed bell peppers.

The best thing about this cookbook is that it includes photos for every recipe. This can be really helpful, especially if you’re new to Turkish cuisine. And like the first book, it also starts by providing some information on Turkish spices and ingredients.

But what I love the most about this cookbook is the wide range of recipes. You’ll find dishes like okra with chickpeas, stuffed zucchini and apricot pide; which are all mouth-watering! And if you’re really looking to spice things up, there’s also an entire chapter dedicated to Turkish pizzas (which they call pizza lahmacun).

And the best thing of all is that this book is on sale right now. So, what are you waiting for? You can get your copy today and start cooking Turkish food!

The Complete Turkish Cookbook

The last cookbook I’ll be reviewing for you today is “The Complete Turkish Cookbook.” And if you couldn’t guess from the name, it’s a complete guide to Turkish cuisine.

This book has a lot more recipes than the other two which is great because there’s so much variety! The first chapter starts with some information on Turkish ingredients and then moves into different types of breads that are common in Turkey. And then… the recipes start!

There are recipes for appetizers, soups, salads, main dishes and desserts. And there’s even a section on drinks like Turkish coffee and tea. Plus, the author provides helpful tips on how to improve your cooking techniques.

So, if you’re looking for a one-stop shop for Turkish cuisine, then this is the book for you.

These five cookbooks are all great resources for anyone who wants to learn more about Turkish cuisine. Each one provides different information and recipes, so be sure to check them all out. And who knows, maybe you’ll find your new favorite Turkish dish!

In the fifth cookbook, readers will learn about recipes from all over the Middle East – not just Turkey. This can be a great resource for those looking to branch out into other cultures within the region.

As mentioned in this review, food preparation is similar to American cuisine because of the shared history with former colonization by Western countries. However, there are some key ingredients and techniques that separate Turkish food from American fare. For example, yogurt is used in cooking many dishes – but not for sweet options like chocolate cake. Furthermore, meat is more integral to the Turkish diet than say Americans who are shifting towards plant-based diets due to increased awareness of the connection between red meat consumption and heart disease.

Foods in Turkey can be broken up into regional categories like Aegean, Mediterranean or Central Anatolia – all of which differ in ingredients and style. Turkish cuisine has been heavily influenced by many cultures, with the Ottoman Empire leaving the most significant impact.

So readers will not only gain an understanding of Turkish food, but also be introduced to other countries in the Middle East and their traditional dishes. This can be a gateway for those interested in learning more about culinary traditions in this vast and underrepresented region of the world.
