I was really excited to try out this roasting pan from Millvado, since I already had a granite stone that I enjoyed using for baking. When the package arrived, it turned out that they sent me two pans instead of one! Now I have a back-up if anything happens to my first one.

After comparing many different models, I settled on the Chicago Metallic Nonstick Roaster with Floating Rack. The reason for my decision was due to the fact that it had an innovative design when it came to its U-shaped floating rack. The rack’s purpose is to evenly distribute heat and altitude elsewhere in the pan elsewhere in order to avoid any burnt food or fat coming into contact with your turkey or other meats.
This can be helpful when you are trying to save space in your oven because you don’t need a pie plate underneath for this model. It also has a heavy gauge construction that is non-stick which makes for easy cooking and cleanup. This also means less fat buildup in your roaster. I found that I could fit up to 25 pounds of turkey in this model which is more than enough for my family on Thanksgiving.
I also found that it was easy to lift out of the oven with built-in handles. This made carving easier and less messy while still providing a grabbable surface. The final feature that attracted me to this model was its durable construction being able to withstand frequent use in your kitchen.
I have had my Chicago Metallic Nonstick Roaster with a Floating Rack for more than 3 years now and it has held up well with some regular use. It is easy to clean but the nonstick surface does make some foods stick to its sides so I try not to let my food sit too long on there or else it will be hard to get off. Overall, I give this model 4 out of 5 stars.
I would recommend this product to a friend. The model I have measures 18 x 13 x 3.4 inches so it’s big enough for most Thanksgiving meals and is easy to lift out of the oven without burning yourself. It also has a unique design with its U shaped rack that helps distribute heat evenly throughout the pan so every part of your food is cooked evenly. The only downside is that the non-stick surface can make some foods stick so it’s important to not let them sit too long after cooking.
